Student Poster Award

The registration period for the Student Poster Award is now closed. Thank you to all those who submitted poster presentations.


In order to nurture the next generation of leading physiologists, Student Poster Awards will be presented with regard to prominent poster presentations and research from general abstracts, of which the lead author is a student, published at the 93rd Annual Meeting of the Physiological Society of Japan.

Eligibility

General presentations, of which the lead author was a student (undergraduate, graduate [doctorate/masters]) at the time the abstract was submitted to the Secretariat for the 93rd Annual Meeting of the Physiological Society of Japan by means of pre-registration.

Judgment

On the first day of the Meeting, a Student Poster Award Candidate Corner will be established at the poster venue, where the judges' panel (Meeting Program Committee) will review the candidate posters.

Awards

An award ceremony will take place on the second day of the Meeting, in which awards will be presented to the student authors of the winning posters. The names of the award winners will be published in a subsequent edition of the Journal of the Pysiological Society of Japan.

How to apply

Applications should be sent from the research supervisor responsible for the research of the student who wants his/her work to be judged.

Please send the following details in an e-mail under the subject "Student Poster Award Entry" to the Meeting Secretariat (seiri93@ec-pro.co.jp).
 ▪ Student's name, affiliation
 ▪ Abstract title, abstract submission No.
 ▪ Student's contact (phone No. or mail address at which the student can be contacted on the first day of the Meeting)
 ▪ Research supervisor's name, affiliation

*Please send from the mail account of the research supervisor, not from that of the student.
Once the entry application has been received, a confirmation mail will be sent from the Meeting Secretariat.
